Jimi Hendrix was born on the 27th of November 1942 anddied on the 18th of September 1970. Jimi was born to an army man named Al Hendrix in Seattle. At first he was called Johnny Allen Hendrix. The name was given to him by his mother. When Jimi was just an infant, his parents put him under foster care in CA. In the year 1945, Al Hendrix, his father, was released from the army and after getting discharged from the armed forces he became the custodian of his son. Then his father named him as James Marshal Hendrix.
